			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I used to work with a guy who thought that Design was a joke since you know &#8220;a table is table&#8221;. At some point this extreme statement starts echoing and then reaches a phylosophical point of view, where, obviously you start asking yourself why &#8220;things aren&#8217;t that simple, punk&#8221;. It is fair to say that (we) consumers tend to be even more lost when you see some ads saying <em>Designer Glasses starting at $29</em> or when a firm like IKEA comercializes some nice pieces at low prices. Well, nothing new here and the following statement &#8220;mass-production era changed mostly everything 70 years ago&#8221; can be found into any basic economy manual.</p>
<p>What&#8217;s left then? Design Stores where Industrial Design is a religion or remarquable initiatives where the act of buying itself it a part of the Design process. Like <a href="http://onepercentproducts.com/en/" target="_blank">One Percent</a> in Japan: 100 pieces for 100 hundred owners only.</p>
<p>The site doesn&#8217;t seem to be updated anymore but still, at BlackBeltSofa we like rare &amp; fancy stuff. Oh and by the way, here is a great book that explains and shows why there is MANY  TABLES:</p>
